Apple CEO Urges Gore To Run For President

The latest issue of Time magazine reveals that Apple CEO Steve Jobs doesn’t just want Al Gore on his board of directors, he wants him for president of the United States…

“Al's the guy. Like many others, I have tried my best to convince him. So far, no luck… If he ran, there's no question in my mind that he would be elected. But I think there's a question in his mind, perhaps because the pain of the last election runs a lot deeper than he lets most of us see.”

Jobs knows a lot about returning to familiar ground to heal old wounds. When the fired co-founder returned to the company in 1997 to right the ship, it took several years before anyone believed his return was nothing more than settling an old score with Silicon Valley.
