The Boy Genius Report have got hold of an internal AT&T document advising on protocol for the upcoming iPhone launch. The memo adds nothing new to what we know already, but seems aimed at stopping blabbermouth staff members from starting new rumors which will ignite the fanboy crowd.
The document specifies that the iPhone will be available sometime in June, but that specific dates should not be provided to customers. Also, there will be no waiting lists: If the iPhone is in the store then you can buy it. If not, tough.
Also, AT&T are staying firm on the pricing, stating that "There should NOT be any additional speculation/discussion about pricing."
We still expect some juicy slip-ups, though. I'm sure the AT&T staff pay as much attetion to memos as we do.
