Canadian scientists have created a book only 0.1mm x 0.07mm in size, readable only with an electron microscope. Made up of 30 "microtablets," the nano-tome was made by carving crystalling silicon with a focused gallium-ion beam.
Professor Karen Kavenagh of the Simon Fraser University says their creation is a work of art, a fun project. At about a tenth the size of the previous smallest-book, it's likely destined for the next edition of the Guinness.
That said, they'll sell you a signature-edition copy for $20,000 or thereabouts. The title even has its own ISBN number.
