It's hard enough cranking out an email on a cell phone, let alone playing games. Enter the Century Sutra 1688 — a Chinese phone you'll never be able to buy here — which has a bizarre gamepad-like brick one can attach to it when the need presents itself.

The phone itself comes with a SNES emulator and 1,500 ROMS, which might indicate another reason why it will never be available beyond the fields of Cathay. However, seeing this $125 device did prompt me to try and install MAME on my Motorola Q, resulting in an hour of failure and misery I will never get back.
