Before he passed away in 1882, Charles Darwin wrote and received over 5,000 letters. They can all now be accessed through the Darwin Correspondence Project's new site, which features an online database with fully searchable texts including the surviving letters from the Beagle voyage, and all the letters during the years of the publication of Origin of Species.
