Bust out the cake, Europe--it's time for a Mario Party. Or it will be in June, when Mario Party 8 is released for the Wii. Party games are a perfect fit for the pick-up-and-play nature of the Wii, so yet another Mario Party title was inevitable.

The Mario Party games lost their steam several iterations ago, right around the time they made the jump to the GameCube, but using the Wiimote breathes a bit of life back into just about gameplay, and anyone who's new to the series will undoubtedly get a kick out of the mini-games. You can even use your Mii in certain modes and specific games. That's kinda neat, right?
