UMPC, how we are ambivalent about thee. Perhaps Fujitsu's idiosyncratic entry into that otherwise strict platform spec will sway us. With 1GB of RAM and a 40GB hard drive, it doesn't really impress, even with that 800 MHz Intel A110 Processor. With claims of a 7 hour battery life and that gorgeous, Sinclair-like design, however, it most certainly does.
But here, see, what do we have before us? A proper keyboard? What is the meaning of this? Why, actual work might be accomplished on this thing.
Japan only, at first, and probably in the $2,000+ range.
UPDATE: Detailed specifications are up at UMPC Portal. Turns out to have a critical failure: no cellular networking, and no bluetooth to hook up to cellular networking. This is an immobile ultramobile.
