Hammer’s Web 2.0 Dream Revealed

As if to shove our has-been rapper doubts back down our throats, a reader has tipped us off to the personal website of TechCrunch20 judge MC Hammer. That’s right, Hammer Time has a blog! (Warning: Turn down your audio, the site blasts loud audio immediately á la MySpace overkill.) Even more surprising, it’s not a quickie throw-up, it’s been around since early last year. A visit to the site reveals the papper’s (pop artist + rapper) most inner thoughts as he recounts a dream:

“I had a horrible dream last night… I walked into the sheriff's office and immediately all eyes were on me. The room went silent and you could hear a rat pissin' on cotton. My dark chocolate skin and my bold jaw line complimented my broad nose and my full lips. I opened my mouth and simply said, ‘I'm here to apply for a job as an officer.’ Reluctantly I was given an application and I quickly filled it out and returned it to the officer on duty.”

Now you know you’re not alone. Even once-rich, once-traveled-the-world, once-sold-millions-of-records pop artists dream about getting a job when the going gets rough. I’ll admit it, I’m putting this guy’s blog in my feed reader, this material is golden.
