In the last two weeks Twitter has suffered its fair share of hiccups and service outages, but that hasn’t diminished the enthusiasm of the developer community.
A new tool for Twitter has been released called MoniTwitter. Created by Jared Cosulich and Pivotal Labs, the site allows you to receive notifications when your website goes down and keep track of how long it takes your website to load.
This is a great tool for site managers who need an easy way to get pinged on their cell phone when a site goes down. Sure there are other tools that already do this, but having such an alert merged with your Twitter stream would immediately be more convenient for existing twitters.
