"Quantum Physicist" is a neat job. Pay your dues as a mathematician and researcher, get your Ph.D., work hard for a few years, then go all Deepak Chopra and start issuing religious encyclicals now and again, each cleverly titled by contrasting God with some quantummy concept. "The God Well," perhaps, or "Cthulhu's Gluons." Anyway, there is real work going on beneath the epicycles-like froth of multidimensional gravity models, and NEC is responsible for the latest, wiring up a quantum circuit designed to be the foundation of future supercomputers.
Righty-o. Check out Wired's story about quantum computing if you fancy making sense of that.
