Is it just me, or does this look like a hideous idea?
What you see to the right is a mockup of the new sport headphone model planned by Arriva specifically for second-generation iPod Shuffle. Instead of cords, the Shuffle plugs directly into the neckband of the headphones, meaning you'll wear it, pressing against your poor medulla oblongata like some robotic reboot button.
Besides the dorkiness (and underarm odor exposure) of having to raise your arm every time you want to switch songs or volume, it's hard to imagine strangers resisting the urge to mess with your playlist in crowded environments like public transportation.
