Is Internet-based game reporting killing off print magazines? Yep. At least, that's what an international group of game journalists had to say during a panel at the Nordic Game Conference. The reasons behind the shift from print to online are pretty obvious, say the journos: online is faster and not as dependent on ad revenue as print is. Publications can print what they really think, as opposed to having an "unhealthy" relationship with PR folks in the hopes of holding on to advertising dollars.

There's certainly no arguing the fact that online reporting is far faster than putting something on paper, but I still love flipping through the pages of an actual magazine. There's just something infinitely more satisfying about reading the printed page than a computer screen. Perhaps I'm just old-fashioned, however. Clearly you folks are fond of getting your news online, but do you still dabble in print as well?
