Everyone knows the secret to rock god-hood is perfect hair combined with the best equipment (musical equipment, that is), so* Rock Band* will feature genuine Fender guitars, basses, and amps. The guitar peripheral will be modeled after the legendary Fender Stratocaster, an axe so legendary that even my mom can recognize it.
Roland and BOSS will be adding their own bit of rock legitimacy to the game by bringing their trademark electronic instruments and guitar pedals to the party. So, we just need Pearl, maybe Zildjian, and a few others on board and we will have the quintessential rock band kit.
