Two days before their scheduled Tokyo press conference at which Square Enix said the company would unveil a "never-before-seen Final Fantasy," the RPG maker has released the first details of the game, titled Dissidia Final Fantasy.
The only concrete details known thus far are that game's genre – Dramatic Progressive Action – and that it will be on the PSP. You can go watch a Flash movie that doesn't reveal much of anything and see a larger version of the logo at the official page. For more info on what the heck this is, anyway, you'll likely have to wait for Thursday's conference. I'll be there, so keep it here for my impressions.
