Stripped Down Cellphone Mod

Mehmet Erkök of the Teknik Üniversitesi in Istanbul, Turkey stripped and modded these handsets for , it seems, no other reason than because it was a cool thing to do. I really like the added beads and plastic parts; they give a kind of gentle, cyberpunk look to the phones, and seeing what goes on under the skin is always interesting.

These phones were once Nokias. Now they are beautiful and still functional skeleton phones.

I really like the added beads and plastic parts; they give a kind of gentle, cyberpunk look to the phones, and seeing what goes on under the skin is always interesting. I'm inspired to strip down an old Sony Ericsson I have lying around.
