Screw the Beatles: Konami, one of the few game publishers to have gone the distance (They started making amusement machines in 1973) has an enormous catalog of music in its chiptune vault, and it's going to slap the lot on iTunes.
This is good because it means no more having to trawl through weird foreign sites looking for that exclusive orchestral remix of the "Challenger" anthem from the first level of Gradius/Nemesis. But this is bad because you'll now have to pay a buck for it.
The tunes will be brokered into the system via Sony BMG, and will also be offered on Rhapsody and other mobile service providers. There's no actual playlist up yet, but expect Castlevania, Dance Dance Revolution, Silent Hill, Metal Gear, and so on.
