Recycling is great, but even dropping off trash into recycling points feels wasteful; isn't there someway to actually reuse the garbage first? Re-use is always better than recycling as turning PET water bottles into fleece jackets still takes energy. That's why we like this simple gadget to turn any bottle into a watering can.
The imaginatively named "Watering Can" comprises a handle and spout only. The connecting piece is able to fit different sizes and shapes of bottle top, glass and plastic, giving your imported boutique mineral water bottle one last task before you send it off to the recycling plant.
The design, by Nicolas Le Moigne of Switzerland, won the 2005 MACEF design award at Designboom, and is now on sale as the the Twist and Spout for just $6.50. More pics after the jump.
