Designer Yves Behar, one of the main folks behind the One Laptop Per Child Project, has taken a couple of spare parts from the happy/shiney device, slapped some laquer on 'em and proclaimed the result a piece of sculpture.
His "Monster" piece is on display now at the temporaryWrong Store gallery in New York and available for purchase for $2,000, which would buy a nice closetful of cranktop PCs.
