When Shelby Hinds of Phoenix, Arizona, picked up a new cellphone from a T-Mobile tray at the local Wal-Mart, she probably didn't expect it to come loaded with porn. Sixty naughty pictures were stashed in the phone's picture gallery, according to Hinds. When she called T-Mobile to complain, staffers at the cellphone giant suggested that her boyfriend was to blame.
This, of course, was hooey: it later turns out that the re-assigned phone number's old account was still set up, smut and all.
Whatever it takes to compete with Apple, eh?
