
It's "dueling newswire fluff stories" this fine Thursday morning, with the AP reporting that accessory makers are geared up and ready for tomorrow's iPhone launch, and Reuters announcing that the iPhone accessory market has been pre-emptively thwarted by Apple's tight control of technical info.

The funny thing is that after these ledes, the two stories are very similar, though the AP has one interesting tidbit: Apple, it claims, asked its partners not to talk to journalists, and specifically told them not to issue press releases until after the launch.
