
Virtually every player in the NFL has grown up playing one version of Madden or another and a company called XOS Technologies is taking advantage of that fact to create new player training software. XOS signed a licensing deal with EA that allows them to blend Madden's tech with its own playbook-to-2d rendering software to create a playable training tool for pro and college teams.
Coaches can create their own custom scenarios and players can play the game from their own individual position, rather than just relying on the more traditional approach of reviewing game footage. According to
XOS co-founder Dan Aton, feedback thus far has been quite positive:
