
Uh oh, there's that word again — iPhone mania nears fever pitch, says USA Today. Frenzy, fever, mania, madness: so many euphemisms for mental illness, so little time to see how far they can be stretched.
"This fills a real void," says one quotee. The only thing left for consumers to do, apparently, is somehow manage to "nab one of the early iPhones on opening day before stock sells out." We do, however, get to some naysaying.
But for everyone who thinks $600 is too much for a phone, Gizmodo reminds us that the mighty, ubiquitous, all-conquering RAZR was exactly that (minus a $100 rebate) when it appeared in 2004.
