It's official! Wired is in line in front of the Apple Store on Market St. in San Francisco for iPhone madness! Thanks to G-Lab BFF, Brian Lam of Gizmodo, we've got a place near the front of the queue that's rapidly wrapping around the street. People look tired, disheveled, but generally excited. NBC news and CNBC are here, filming some segments. We're stoked. It's not terribly cold either, which is awesome, especially considering how damn freezing it can get here...in the summertime.

The sun's coming up now. Natural light and safety from vampires at last! Brian (not a vampire) just woke up too. People are starting to stir. We count 63 human beings in line right now. More are surely on the way. We'll have some Q&A sessions in just a little bit, right after folks here start to become coherent. (And we suck down a few depth charges.)
