Resistance: Fall of Man
and Ratchet and Clank creators Insomniac Games have found themselves on the Best 50 Small & Medium Sized Companies to Work For in America list for the third year in a row. Insomniac was ranked 8th in the small companies category, and is still the only video game developer to make the list at all.

The honors don't end there, though. Insomniac is the only Southern California company in the small business category, the only company in the "TV, Film and Video" category to be recognized this year, and is the only company in the history of the small business category to make the top ten three years in a row.

Insomniac Games' head honcho and all-around swell guy Ted Price thinks the accolades prove that being successful and supportive aren't mutually exclusive states of being for a developer:

Last year was among the most challenging in Insomniac's history as we prepared to release Resistance: Fall of Man worldwide with the launch of Playstation 3. Yet we delivered a top-rated and top-selling game -- on time -- while retaining our Top 10 ranking as one of the best small companies to work for in America. Therefore, it's especially gratifying to demonstrate again that it's possible in the games industry to achieve excellent results while maintaining a collaborative and stimulating workplace culture.

Best of all? They're hiring.
