Is Samsung's $800 UMPC Coming Or Not?

Samsung’s Q1 Ultra, one of the most reasonably-priced Origami-style UMPCs, might be just too cheap and slow in its $800 incarnation; the low-end model, based on Intel’s 600 MHz A100 CPU, is still incognito a couple of weeks into the line’s general availability.

Samsung's Q1 Ultra, one of the most reasonably-priced Origami-style UMPCs, might be just too cheap and slow in its $800 incarnation; the low-end model, based on Intel's 600 MHz A100 CPU, is still incognito a couple of weeks into the line's general availability.

The base model, numbered Q1U-EL, would have also come with 1GB of RAM, a 40GB hard drive, 7" display, Wifi, Bluetooth and pokey-but-necessary hardware keyboard. It was to ship in May, but still hasn't show up alongside its more capable brothers in the Q1 line.

Everywhere I look, product pages list the Q1U-EL as out of stock.
