The NPD North American game sales reports are in, and once again it's Nintendo on top of the hardware and software charts. Nintendo DS and Wii were the top-selling two pieces of hardware for the month at 423,150 and 338,128 units each. Leading the rest of the pack was PSP, which actually saw a jump in sales over last month with 221,120 units. PS3 is still in the 80,000 unit range.
It's the software charts that are really crazy this month, though. Pokemon Diamond and Pearl moved another half a million copies. Mario Party 8 was this month's biggest seller. And Activision had a huge month -- two Spider-Man games and two Guitar Hero games made the top ten.
Full charts after the jump.
