The folks at Play got to take Metroid Prime 3: Corruption for a spin, and suffice it to say, they likee. They felt that the motion controls actually worked better than twin thumbsticks and that the backtracking in Corruption made more sense than it did in its predecessors. (Yeah, like that would be difficult.) Play also appreciated the larger environments, bloom lighting, and textures that Corruption had to offer.

To switch visors, you hold down minus and flick the Wiimote in the appropriate direction, and there's beam stacking, a la Super Metroid. Corruption Mode itself wasn't available in the demo they tried (pity), but they still say that MP3:C could be the biggest revolution in first person shooters since Halo. Bold statements like that make me all tingly.
