The Prince of Persia is being reborn on Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday. Prince of Persia Classic takes the original (frequently infuriating) masterpiece by Jordan Mechner, gives it a fresh coat of paint, then stuffs it chock full of new enemies, traps, and puzzles. PoPC will have three different modes to test your skill and determination:
- Normal Mode: Finish the game as fast as possible, with saves at the end of each level. No problem.
- Time Attack Mode: Finish the game as fast as possible, but if you can't wrap it up in 60 minutes, you're starting from scratch. Hmmm...tough, very tough, but doable with enough practice.
- Survival Mode: Complete the game in 60 minutes or less without dying. Bwaaaa ha ha haaaaa....yeah. Ok. Sure.
Prince of Persia Classic will cost you 800 points. Given how beautiful the new visuals are, they should add a Theme, too.
