Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime spoke to the San Jose Mercury News today about the planned Nintendo office openings in the San Francisco Bay and New York City.
Saying that 55 employees will move to the South Bay (Fils-Aime names Redwood City, Menlo Park, and San Carlos as possible new homes) and that 25 will move to midtown Manhattan, Fils-Aime characterized the impact on Nintendo thusly:
Fils-Aime would not comment on Game Informer's and IGN's assertions that top executives George Harrison, Perrin Kaplan, and Beth Llewelyn would leave the company rather than pull up roots from their Seattle homes.
