Would-be fashionistas will be able to hone their sartorial skills with 505 Games' Fashion Designer: Style Icon for the DS, due out this Fall. The mission-based game puts you in the role of a young designer working your way through fashion school until you achieve the career of your dreams. Think of it as portable Project Runway and you've got the general gist.
Performance in the Career Mode will be judged on things like tailoring time, accuracy, and design choices, but Free Mode lets players design whatever they like (you listening, cosplayers?). Exceptional designers will unlock new fabrics, patterns, accessories, and supermodels, but anyone can use the wireless multiplayer mode to challenge their pals to a design-off, which is almost, but not quite as cool as a Zoolander walk-off.
