The Razor-Keen Accuracy of Today's RFID Debate

(((Given that us mere tech-journalists rely on the RFID
industry press for accurate, unbiased RFID information, would it be too much to ask for the industry-boosters at AIM to learn to spell Katherine Albrecht's name correctly? After all, it's not like the woman is going away. Her "Spychips" outfit is the number-five Google hit for "RFID." And it's been that way for years.)))

(((Also, why can't AIM accurately spell the word "association" in its own hotlinks?)))

"...Along the same lines of illogic were comments attributed to Catherine Albrecht in an article about plans to use RFID to identify Alzheimer's patients in order to improve care given to them in a hospital Emergency Room.

The article lead cites an "outcry of violation of privacy" although only Albrecht was cited as a critic. The article quotes Albrecht as saying, "This whole medical trial...really raises some pretty important issues about informed consent."

Unfortunately, those issues weren’t spelled out, nor was the basis for Albrecht's comments.... (((etc etc etc)))

You can be assured that AIM Global and RFID Connections will continue to deliver accurate, unbiased information on RFID.
