Gaming with your kids serves many excellent purposes: not only can it be a wonderful bonding experience, it can also let parents better understand what exactly the chillens are doing with their free time. The problem, of course, is finding something that's appropriate for children while not boring the grownups to tears. MSNBC has a list of what it considers the Top Five games to play with your kids:
- Lego Star Wars II
- Wii Sports
- Dance, Dance Revolution: Mario Mix
- Mario Party 8
- Cars
Pretty fine choices, overall, though I'm a bit dubious about DDR being on the list. My mom gets too stressed out by video games, but my dad and I used to play together all the time. He would've really loved Halo, but DDR? No way.
Any other suggestions?
