Bad news for everyone using BitTorrent to download pr0n err...movies. From Ars Technica:
I'm not too crazy about the MPAA myself, but the claim on TorrentSpy's front page that they "want to know who you are, what you search for, and what you download," doesn't seem so unreasonable if their intent is to truly crackdown on piracy. After all, pirates are people who search for pirated content and then download it. My guess is that what really sets TorrentSpy off is the fact that the MPAA has decided to put the squeeze on the sites first, with the inevitable suing of individual users to come later. Enforcement of this motion is still pending appeal from the TorrentSpy camp, so it's safe to say that this fight is far from over.
