The Wii might be great for keeping couch potatoes fit, but it still ties you to the Great Indoors. Until now, that is. The 7inch LCD screen from Japanese peripheral maker Century comes with a dock for your Wii. Seven inches might not sound like much, but as ever, it's not the size that counts, but what you do with it: The "Wii private 7 inch monitor" comes with built in sensor bar and a car adapter, so the kids can duke it out in the back on long journeys.
The dock hooks into the ports on the bottom of the console and passes through the power, so you don't need extra cabling. At 880g (2lbs) and ¥14,800 ($120) it's neither light nor cheap. And if you want to play Wii Tennis in the sun, you'll need to bring some binoculars.
