Folks who picked up Virtua Fighter 5 for their PS3 may be a little bitter to learn that the 360 version will offer online play, something the PS3 version does not.
Based on the latest arcade version update, VF5 will also offer an improved Quest mode with more opponents, items, and emblems for character customization.
For those looking to hone their Virtua Fighter skills (which is pretty much everyone who's played VF for less than a decade), the
Dojo mode has also been improved. Added features include training move settings, improved throw and escape training, and the option to change your opponent's position and recovery type. Leaderboards will let you display the fruits of your training.
It's not due out until this Fall, but it looks like it will be worth the wait.
