Game industry watcher Michael Pachter of Wedbush Morgan Securities has sent out his firm's analysis of the June NPD sales results, and finds that overall sales for hardware and software have exceeded forecasts.
Pachter goes on to note something for the Nintendo fans in the audience: "although most of the upside came from Nintendo first party software sales, we expect concerns about slowing industry sales of software and hardware to be alleviated" (emphasis added). It's that crazy Mario Party 8 again.
