Don't be surprised if, someday soon, the men in black suits come to take Wired chief Chris Anderson away. First the guy goes a builds a drone out of Legos and spare parts. Now, he's putting together a small-scale version of the Predator robotic spy plane. "When the transmitter's gear switch is down, [you] contro[l] the plane manually," he explains. :When you switch the gear lever up, it transfers control to the Picopilot and the Predator goes into autonomous mode.

Next step, I suppose, is to outfit the thing with itty-bitty Hellfire missiles, just like the big one has.
