Earlier this week, Amazon listed a whole mess of prices and configurations for Rock Band, which many assumed had ended the speculation over what Harmonix's multi-instrumental, wide-reaching music game would cost and how it would be packaged. But Electronic Arts, speaking to Eurogamer, calls the pricing "pure speculation."
It all does actually sound kind of reasonable: $200 for the drums, a guitar, a mike, and the game, and the expected price breakdowns for individual accessories. They should really sell a kit with just drums and the game, though, considering that for solo players, drumming is going to be the big draw -- and most people already have two guitars.
