More equals better, especially with storage. On the other hand, the more you keep in one place, the higher the risk of data loss. Fujitsu can't stop your drive from being stolen or dropped, but with its new 300GB external hard drive, it gives you a whole lot of protection just in case. The 4200RPM 2.5" bus powered drive features a "16-point omnidirectional shock mounting design" for some on-the-go ruggedization, an integrated USB cable and a slew of encryption options to lock down your precious bits in case of loss (if you're using Windows).
EZ Gig II is a secure backup solution, Cryptainer gives you AES 256 or Blowfish 448 bit encryption and Second Copy 2000 (does adding "2000" to a product name still make it futuristic?) takes care of data synching. Available for $230 in the fall, this should be a great solution for photographers and DJs.
