We knew there was a big David Jaffe announcement coming, and now we know what it is: he's formed a new studio with Incognito Entertainment founder Scott Campbell called Eat, Sleep, Play.

Jaffe and Campbell go way back to the early Playstation days when they both worked on Twisted Metal*.* The new studio, based in Utah, will be quite cozy with Sony, having a multi-year, multi-title deal to make games for Playstation hardware.

The first game from the studio will be a bit of a homecoming for Jaffe and Campbell: Twisted Metal Head-On for the PS2. Ok, not as cool as a Twisted Metal for the PS3 would be, but still pretty cool. Head-On will apparently feature lost levels from the unreleased Twisted Metal: Black Part II. (If it was never released, aren't all the levels technically "lost"? I'm just askin'...)
