More from that Nielsen group report on video game play time -- apparently, the low-priced Wii is selling to an upscale market. Households owning Wii are more likely to have a combined family income above $100,000 than households owning other game systems.

This definitely puts a dent into the theory that Wii is succeeding simply because of its appeal to price-sensitive consumers. On the contrary, it is apparently quite posh to have a Wii next to your television set. I guess the maid can wipe it down when it collects dust between releases. Oh snap, I just went there.
