
You've seen the scattered stories by now of techies from Best Buy's Geek Squad abusing their position to snoop on customers, but insiders say the problem goes way beyond an occasional Peeping Tom. Former Squad members say technicians routinely browse photos and other personal information on PCs left for sevice and make copies of music and movies stored on them. Says one former Geeker:
Best Buy says it monitors Geeks closely and is stepping up efforts to weed out troublemakers.
