So, my friend Ryan in Chicago and has been driving me crazy by sending messages every time he happens upon the shooting of the new Batman movie The Dark Knight. The most recent missive was this:
XO this, jerk. As Paris Hilton once said, it’s not fair. The only thing I’ve ever seen filmed near my place of employment was Rent, and although that was exciting, there sure as shit wasn’t a Bat-bike and crap blowing up. Then today, there’s this new teaser trailer. There’s very little here to actually look at, just some creepy dialogue, but if you watch closely around the 44 second mark there’s a Joker image. Sound familiar? Christopher Nolan is officially trying to kill me with all this suspense. I cannot survive on these morsels alone. I will go batty (natch). Now I just have to sit here and wait until next summer?! Why does it feel so dark and cold?
