The military has been using shoot-em-up video games to train soldiers for more than a decade. They've been running live-fire drills for a whole lot longer. But I've never seen the two combined like this: virtual opponents, inside real rooms, getting shot with real bullets.

Vets, active-duty guys: What do you think of this? Can this digital-actual hybrid substitute for some old-school live-fire training? Or do you need people on both sides to make it feel real?
