Capcom Publishing Titles for N-Gage

From the "Why?" files comes the news that Capcom will be publishing games for the N-Gage starting next year. Capcom is the first Japanese based publisher to make such a commitment to N-Gage.

Director of Capcom's European Mobile Division, Yosuke Yoneda:

Capcom is dedicated to creating great mobile games, and believes that N-Gage will allow us to bring some of our most famous franchises to the platform.

Not exactly a giant "woo hoo!", is it? No word on what titles Capcom will be bringing to the N-Gage. Nokia is reviving the N-Gage as a multiplayer gaming service that will work on its line of smartphones, but it's tough to say whether or not that will matter to consumers. For most games "N-Gage" will forever be synonymous with side-talkin'.
