Cooking Mama for Nintendo DS did okay in Japan, but it was a sleeper hit in America. And it just kept on going: Majesco announced today that they have shipped an astonishing 500,000 units of the original portable collection of cooking minigames.
Following up on the success of the series will be sequels to both the DS and Wii games. Apparently, Majesco has done better with Cooking Mama then they ever managed with big-budget games like Advent Rising. Talk about your wise business moves.
