A free online music service called Deezer (possibly inspired by the German word for "this one") allows you to search for any song, artist, or album, and instantly stream it or add it to a permanent playlist.
Lifehacker likens it to "Pandora on steroids," but in my testing just now, it wasn’t nearly as good as finding what I was looking for as Pandora is. A Deezer search for "the fall" didn’t return any songs by The Fall, even when I used boolean quotes, and a search for "future of the left" came up empty-handed. If you’re hoping to find something, it helps if it contains an uncommon word (for instance, searching for "mogwai" returned great results).
You can also embed songs in your blog, although when you do, a window pops up that’s impossible to get rid of unless you enter email addresses or hit Reload (presumably they’ll iron that out soon).
