Epic's Mark Rein says you shouldn't hold your breath waiting for a PS3 demo of Unreal Tournament before the game ships in November. PC gamers, on the other hand, will likely get the chance to try before they buy.

According to Rein, the problem boils down to simple manpower issues, with Epic forced to choose between working on the game or working on the demo:

We're not a big huge company with the resources to do that, and all the time we're testing that demo we're not testing our full game, which we need to be doing constantly.

A PC demo would apparently be far easier to do, and, according to Rein, would actually help Epic fine-tune the game prior to its release.
