<cite>Folklore</cite> Demo Available on PSN Store Today

European PS3 owners have been known to complain that the PlayStation Store doesn't have much worth getting, but they just got a pretty sweet exclusive: the Folklore demo. The Folklore demo is available today on the PlayStation Network Store. Though it originally looked like it might be a European exclusive, everyone gets to share the love.

That's the good news. The bad news is that the demo is only available until August 31st, after which it will be removed from the Store. Isabelle Tomatis said Sony wanted to give folks who couldn't make it to Leipzig a chance to see what all the fuss was about:

Folklore is a game we are really excited about and we recognise that not everyone can afford to get to Leipzig. PSN gives us a new way of talking to and rewarding our loyal fans so we have decided for the first time to get them on the inside track with the early release of this demo! We hope they enjoy it and look forward to the feedback.

What about those of us who couldn't make it to Leipzig and don't live in a PAL territory? Huh? Where's the love? Folklore has "sleeper hit" written all over it. Try the demo, guys. Really.
