Between October 12th and 19th, the FCC will open a full-power non-commercial/educational FM radio station licensing window (PDF) that could be the last chance to grab some decent FM spectrum before it's all gone. If you've ever wanted your own terrestrial radio station, you can apply for a license, assuming there's free spectrum in your area and that you qualify as a community group or nonprofit.
According to Getradio.org, "it will be many years before another licensing window opens and,
frankly, there won't be much full power radio spectrum of valueavailable after this issuing period."
